Rental Car Rates

We are renting a minivan from April 28 to May 12. We have never rented a minivan - always compacts - but with more family going a minivan is a must.

Using Kiss2 with dollar I got a rate of $158.99 per week. Add taxes, etc. and the total rate is $409.80. This is the best deal I have found so far and it seems ok to me. Any minivan renters out there that can confirm if it is a good deal?

However, we have to add an additional driver @ $9 extra per day. Still the best rate. I wish the Alamo codes with the additional driver included were a little better!

I'll be locked to the computer over the next month looking for better deals !

jen54321, we are going the exact same dates. I have a ressie with dollar for the same rate and have been looking for months and try a lot of different codes and companies. I tried Dollar today to see if it went down at all and instead it has gone up to $503.37 U.S. I guess we are sticking with dollar and the $409.80 rate. Let me know if you find anything cheaper. Hope the Canadian dollar comes up a bit too.
