Rental car policy question

I will need a car from Thursday 9/30 through Tuesday 10/5. A total of 6 days.

My flight arrives at 10:50am on 9/30
And departs at 2:15pm on 10/5

So, I might need the car 1 to 1 1/2 hours more than exactly 6 days.

I am renting from Budget....do they allow a little bit of leway with their times?

And with a 2:15 departure....should I be getting to the airport by noon? or a little bit before?

I would say that you could probably make your reservation for a noon pickup and a noon drop off. I don't think there will be extra time required.

Usually 5 to 7 days is charged the weekly rate, so it wouldn't matter except for taxes that are charged per day. Run through quotes with both time options and see the difference.

The leeway is usually 59 minutes, but that's never written in the contract so never a guarantee.
