Rental car locations

My DH is driving in from Ft Meyers FL with a rental car which we have not rented. We are going to be staying at POR. So which car company has the closest return spot to this hotel? He really does not want to mess with airport and my parents can pick him up. Any thoughts or ideas?

Well, aside from your first sentence being confusing (if he's driving a rental car you haven't rented, how's he getting it? ) - Alamo/National are most convenient, in that they're located at the Car Care Center outside the Magic Kingdom parking lot and have regularly-running free shuttles that will bring him back to POR when he returns the car. If he needs to return it after they close for the day, he can instead go to the Dolphin and check it in with Valet Parking. He'll just have to find his own way back to your resort.

Kaytieeldr...thanks. I was posting the thread when I could not sleep so thanks for understanding. I meant that we have not rented the car yet so we are open to the options available. Thanks. I did not know they had a shuttle at the car center.

There's also Avis at the Hilton across from Downtown Disney, and Budget at the Doubletree near DD.

NancyIL - thanks! I know there are other convenient rental companies, but see my response to the OP I didn't want to give wrong information, so I thought it was smarter to tell her only what I know for sure and to let someone wiser than me expand
