Rental Car at Port to go up to WDW

I'm sorry, I'm sure that this has been asked before, but what's the name of the rental location if you want to rent a car after a cruise (we're taking Royal Carribean, but I'm sure Disney Cruiseline uses the same port) and then go to WDW. Will check out prices at Alamo, Budget, Avis, Hertz(?) once I know where I'll pick up car.

We're going in August and want to rent with whomever is easiest (and hopefully reasonable) for 2 days.

It's Port Canaveral, but I believe to rent a car you need to put in Cape Canaveral.

I know Budget will pick you up (we're planning on using them next year). If you use National they don't have a pick-up service, you'll need to take a cab. I don't know what other car rental places are there.

Thank you, Rita, guess Budget it'll be then out of Cape Canaveral. Now off to look for coupon codes/good rates for late August, and hopefully no drop-off charge for return car to a different location (the airport).

Passporter reports that Hertz and Avis also will pick you up at the port.

If you find any good deals, please pass them along. We are looking to rent a car for 8 days in mid-August (MCO to MCO) and again for August 29th-30th (MCO to Cape Canaveral) and September 2nd-3rd (Cape Canaveral to MCO). I've yet to find any decent rates for that time frame. Hoping the good coupon rates come out in early summer.
