Rent/Trade Questions

I am not going to try to pretend otherwise - I am new to disboards so please forgive my ignorance. Finally registered this morning after spending countless hours researching our pending DVC purchase. Assuming we pass ROFR, we will have 211 banked points that need to be used by Dec. Our contract is being submitted to Disney today so using the estimates I've read about here, it will probably be mid May before I have access. We will not be able to use these points ourselves. After reading the sticky on the R/T board, being that I just registered with disboards, I can't post there for 6 months and have a min. 50 posts. If my understanding is correct, what's the best way to advertise this?

you might want to rent using ebay or another board with fewer restrictions (google can help you find them). or you could contact david (see the banner on the rent/trade board) and let him broker a rental for you.

Welcome disfamily2011 to the DIS boards and good luck in getting your ROFR passed.

The reply from Charles above is excellent advice, I can only add that you should try to use the DIS boards on a regular basis, it's has a wealth of information and the advice from it's members is second to none, especially to new DVC members requiring help with their membership.
