Who: My new hubbie Brian (27), along for the ride
Me, Renessa (24), planner extraordinaire
Day 3-
Wednesday, July 3rd
We slept in today, and headed to Typhoon Lagoon around 10:30. This was not the plan (wanted to be there early), but we needed the sleep. I was shocked with the locker rental prices $7 for 1x1 ft and $9 for 1x2 ft. ($2 is refunded with key return!). We bobbed around the lazy river for a long time, and then headed to the wave pool. We realized there was no chance of getting something to eat (longest lines all week), and decided to take a break and head back to CBR for lunch. We ordered a pizza that seemed to take forever, and took it to the room to eat. Around 2P we headed back to TL. We stayed till about 5P, and sold our key to another family for the $2 refund price. When we returned to our room, it was not cleaned yet, but the maid was nearby. We decided to put the privacy sign up and shower anyway, and later found the maid left a large bag of TP, towels, and soaps hanging on the outside of our door. We grabbed a bus to DD, and decided to eat at Rainforest- based on the recommendations of a nearby family. We signed in and had a 40 minute wait (for 2 of us). The wait for 3-4 was almost 2 hours??? We grabbed a margarita at the outdoor counter (Capn Jacks), and then headed back to be seated. I had found a coupon in a local travel guide that was for a chefs appetizer of the day, which turned out to be a wonderful (and filling) chicken quesadilla. We chose two different sampler entrees, one chicken/ribs/grilled shrimp and one crab cake/fresh fish/coconut shrimp. We should have split one, as the appetizer was huge (and free!!!). We were too full for dessert, and we headed to finish DD and West Side touring. Along the way we got pastries from the DD bakery (the cheapest anywhere in WDW!) We also purchased a few souvenirs in the World of Disney. I wanted a hot fudge sundae, but was still too full. Ghirellihies (sp?)- on the candy store side was giving away free samples of choc. caramels. They were fabulous. Back to CBR for some shut eye!
