Renee AND Nate: July 19, 2012 Wishes Wedding

Hi Ladies!!!

Here's my latest:

So, I emailed my planner and I have to say she has been really responsive to my concerns!!! I have a planning session with her this Wednesday in regards to my rehearsal dinner!! She said she was going to do some research as far as venues and such ....

Also, I have started to get some R.S.V.P.S! I think i was smart to include a spot to force the guests to write down their reservation numbers just in case they booked another way. So far I have 19 room nites . 22 people have confirmed... my goal is 30!

I have chosen to go with David and Vikki Arnt for my photographers. Their work is fabulous, and they even told me that they used to be Disney photographers and chose to go out on their own. I have even seen shots they have taken from my venue choice so that is super consoling. Video is going to be S.T.V.S., and I am choosing to have a live stream of the ceremony.

This week also involved dress shopping. My mom chose a gorgeous soft pink gown. MOH is going to wear an Ivory favianna dress (just call her pippa!). But the kicker is my mother in law is going to wear a black gown to my wedding So that made me ultimately decide to have the guys wear black tuxes (i was going to go with a silver color).

Lastly, I have decided to put Ben (my son) in a diamond white tuxedo to match my dress.... He is going to be walking with me down the aisle with my dad ...

I find myself wishing the days away due to excitement; I know I should not do this because life itself is precious. But I am getting way to excited to experience my dream wedding!!!

Hey Renee! That's awesome that your planner is helping you look into your rehearsal dinner options! It's nice to have someone on the inside lol (even though you have been to Disney a gazillion times and are probably more of an insider than her lol)

Yay for RSVP's!! That was a really smart idea to put a space for reservation numbers! I wish I thought of that!

As for the Arndts...well you know I LOVE them! lol Thanks to you I booked STVS today too!

I can't wait to see your mom's dress! and lmao at the Pippa comment! Also, if I may, I think you should stick with you original choice of Grey tuxes...it will help your FMIL stick out a little more (or the opposite if you are not a fan of her lol) and I am biased because that's what we're having! lol

I can't wait to see your son in his suit!!! That's going to be awesome! And a huge tear jerker moment for your guests I'm sure! lol

Don't feel bad about being excited!!! That means it's going to be awesome!

Thanks for your post Nancy!!! Oh I also wanted to tell you something that I found out here on the boards. Have you ever heard of the Tables in Wonderland?? Apparently because we are annual pass holders we are elidgable for this service where we pay a small fee and then get 20 percent off our meals when we go to Disney!!!

Hey ladies time for another update...
I spoke to my planner to note the following changes:


Rehearsal dinner is booked! It is going to be at the Rose and Crown pub. at 745 so we will be able to view illuminations. I was very happy to say that my planner did not force me into creating something through the wedding service that would cost me an arm and a leg. I feel she stared me in the right direction.

I have booked s.t.v.s. video service and have chosen
Also I am booking David and Vicki Arndt for photography

Lastly, I have to say the only thing I am getting frustrated about my rsvps!!! I have 22 replies which is great. However, certain people who i thought would have booked their reservations, and have not. Still some people are maybes!!! I'd just like to know so I could invite others!!
