Epcot 4th of July Crowds?

We've never been to WDW during 4th of July so I don't really have a concept of how crowded things typically get. We currently have park reservations at Epcot for the 4th, but I'm now considering starting our day at HS and then hopping over to Epcot in the afternoon. If we go this route, is there any likelihood we wouldn't actually be able to hop due to Epcot reaching capacity? I find it hard to believe it would get THAT busy but I figured I'd ask just to make sure.

We were there last 4th. It is definitely crowded, but it was also during a heat advisory - like much hotter than anticipated. So, we actually didn't go into Epcot until late afternoon. The day after when we went in before ending the trip, Epcot was DEAD.

The fireworks are amazing (we liked more than MK). We did MK on 7/3 and Epcot 7/4. We loved the whole thing despite the heat. We have been a few times in August, but this particular trip was brutal due to the extra heat advisory. It was intense.

The 4th of July is expected to be very high crowds. You need that LLMP/LLSP for your attractions as you may encounter very long waits.
