Remy Passholder Preview

We were lucky to attend both DVC and AP previews of Pandora. Although there was a specific time for us to enter, we could stay as long as we wanted and ride as many times as we wanted (one of our previews was at the end of the day, so we had to leave when the park closed). We rode FoP six times during those two previews!

I don't want to entirely dispute this - but this was not the case for the initial run of AP previews for Pandora. I went on the first day (Saturday), and they gave us a one-use Fastpass for FoP, but we were allowed to ride Navi River Journey as much as we wanted.

We were allowed to get back in line after we rode. We rode twice at the AP preview, which was in the evening. The next morning we had the DVC preview, were able to spend as much time as we wanted in Pandora even after the next preview group started coming in, and I rode FoP 4 times in a row while DH stopped after his third. I think we may have attended some of the later preview sessions, so maybe they had relaxed some?

I clicked on the link as soon as I got the email and it was an hour wait. By the time it came up, Sept 30th (my FL arrival date) was not showing as an available date. Just curious if anyone was able to book a preview on this date.

This type of thread has been so helpful to me in the past, I wanted to share my experience as a quick data point.

I did not receive an email invite and just saw this thread this morning, at which time I tried the link on page 4 which said the ”Event” is full. I used the chat feature in the app and (despite being told it could be tomorrow before someone could help!) heard back within a couple of hours.

Was told I had to provide one date and time (I had given a range - I’m there for six days during the previews) and she checked with whoever it was she had to check with, and eventually came back with several time options for my chosen day, because my first choice was full.

Was also told nothing is confirmed until I get an email…which I’m still waiting on ha ha. But I’m optimistic. The whole process, once connected with someone on chat, was less than an hour.

That‘s a lot of words, but I know my planners on here appreciate the details. Again thanks for all the comments here, and I wish everyone well in their own preview journey

We had to go through a lot of contortions to finally get through to a Cast Member for help, but it all worked out.

We received our email confirmation Sunday morning!

I know people on here reported being able to register with "just" the AP certificate, not having activated it yet. I know I did that for SWGE AP Previews as well. I also know that the people having issues with the "your pass has already been associated with an account" error were people with recovery passes, regardless if they've been activated. I had that same error & chatted in via the app. About 20 hours later I got a response, which was that I wasn't eligible to register for the event. I know people here were able to call & register but at this point I feel like it's just not worth it. Often stuff like this is up to the individual CM (which is why you'll see people on here say to call back & ask again lol) but after spending basically an entire day trying to get through to someone & with the event being reported as full I just don't know.

At least she gave you somewhat of a timeframe to look for the email.
I also had the error message about my account number.... spent over 24 hours trying to solve the issue..... between phone calls and waiting for chat responses..... she did take all my info and verified and took my requested day/time...... then...
I was told they "do not have a turn around time"! I will wait a week and maybe attempt to contact them again.

I am so sorry that you were unable to obtain Remy AP preview tickets. YOU created this thread which made it possible for so many to secure an AP preview ticket.

It's okay! I'm glad it helped so many people, that's what disboards is for! I can be patient until October. If I really wanted I could probably keep calling & trying but I just don't feel like it's worth the effort.

Disney is going to add a park reservation for EPCOT to MDE a few days before your preview date. We plan to go to HS the morning of our preview (which is in the afternoon). I may call next week to ask about this, since we already have a park reservation for HS in MDE for our Remy preview date, and I don't want that to cause any kind of issue since Disney will be adding an EPCOT park reservation for that date, too. I will post what I find out. If anyone finds out before then, would you mind sharing info here? Thanks!

A follow-up in case anyone was wondering about this, with a disclaimer that you never know for sure:

I called about this today, and the CM reached out to the escalation team to confirm her thoughts. They said if you currently have a park reservation for a park other than EPCOT on your Remy preview day, that should not be a problem. The addition of the EPCOT reservation to your MDE account by Disney for the Remy preview should not impact any other park reservation you have in MDE for that date. She did recommend printing out the Remy preview e-mail confirmation. I also did a screenshot of MDE showing our other park reservation for that date, just in case it disappears when they add the one for EPCOT.
