There is a huge difference between beach type sandals and dressy shoes that happen to be open toe and backless. I wouldn't consider these "sandals" at all.

I would not call you beautiful shoes "sandals" either.

Thanks so much for all the compliments!! I was of the mind that any shoe that isn't closed in, is a sandal. I've got to check out those Switch Flops, they sounds like a cool idea! Oh, and I do own some flip flops with bling on them I'll be sure to get some pics...I know most women's idea of dressing up is the little black dress, but I wanted to wear white linen.
