Removing TA from Placeholder

So we went on our first cruise in January and loved it so bought a placeholder. At the time I connected it to the travel agent that we originally booked with. With Fall/Winter 2025 cruises coming out any day now (hopefully), I have contacted my TA about booking a cruise when they open up but I haven't heard anything back. The communication with our TA wasn't great before but now I'm worried as I like to book as soon as possible and have not had any response from them. Does anyone know if it's possible to call DCL and get a TA taken off the placeholder? Thanks!

You will have to get the TA to release it back to DCL.

I suggest reaching out to the TA again. Email or try phone if that's an option. When someone doesn't respond to my email (after a timely wait), instead of assuming they are ignoring me I reconnect to see if they received it. I've had legitimate emails end up in the spam folder by accident so I know it happens.

I've had that happen several times with a TA that I've been using for years. Why it goes to his spam folder is a mystery.
