Removing (and replacing) a ticket - impact on FP?

Background: For our trip in November, we have convention tickets, which as you know, cannot be modified once activated. However, yesterday's AP announcement made me decide to get an AP. So, TA can remove and refund the convention ticket, and I have purchased a ParkSavers to then upgrade to an AP.

Question: I currently have FPs "attached" to my convention ticket. Will I lose those FPs when she removes the ticket? Should I put the new ticket on first and then have the convention ticket removed? Do I have to do anything to "transfer" my FPs to the new ticket? Anything else I should be aware of or take caution with?

Thanks!

My guess would be that the new ticket should be added to your MDE account before the old once is removed since you have to have tickets in order to have FPs. However, nothing is attached to a ticket, so there's no transferring to do.

I agree. Link your new tickets before you delete the convention tickets and your FPs will remain.
