Remember the Fox show "Titus"?

DH and I are going to see Christopher Titus at the local comedy club tonight! I saw a story about it in the paper yesterday and remembered that DH loved that show, so I bought us two tickets for sweetest day. Anyone else like that show?

DH and I loved that show. I liked the girl who played his girlfriend. She was a baddy (Annie) on Guiding Light. Also, the brother on Titus was the bully in the movie A Christmas Story. You know, red rider bb gun. I think the characters name was Scotty Farkus. Have fun at the show.

Titus.. hilarious, sometimes dark comedy loved it!!!

one of my favorite episodes was the one where an ex girlfriend comes around for Titus.. she has a history of beating Titus. At the end of the show Titus talks to the audience while in his little room with the hanging bulb.... he talks about the abuse he suffered from a past relationship.... very moving.....

I was sad to see the show "Titus" removed from the Fox schedule.

That was one of our favorite shows. I loved Stacy Keach as the father. I remember reading an article that the show was loosely based on his life.

LOVED that show! I really miss it. My favorite line from the show was the episode where Titus and Dave are skiing and they end up stranded. Dave looks at Titus and says something like "Titus, promise me if we don't get out of this you won't eat me." Awesome show - why do they cancel such GOOD shows????

I don't watch very much tv and although I remembered the name of the show (imagine that! lol) still was having a hard time remembering the characters until doxdogy mentioned Stacey Keach as the father. Oh my, that character was something else! lol

I love Titus, I think he is a great comedian.

UPDATE==Titus was SO FUNNY! If he comes anywhere near you, run, don't walk to get tickets--all 4 Toledo shows sold out! He is hysterical! DH and I can't believe how funny this show was.
He sold T-shirts that say "B Normal and people will accept you--B deranged and they will make you their leader"--which I think will be my new motto!
He also signed the shirts, just my name but Bill's said "Bill, get help"! DH is just thrilled. I hope the picture of Titus and DH comes out!

I just saw this thread from a couple of days ago.

We LOVED Titus! He came here to Tampa Bay a few years back, but we weren't able to see him.

Cynthia Watros played his girlfriend. She's now on Drew Carey as his girlfriend. I love her too!

Just to add that the picture of DH and Titus came out great--DH is blowing it up to put in his office next to the picture of him with Colin Powell (no kidding--he met him at a motivational seminar before Bush was elected). That will be a funny pairing!
