Remember the Birthday Cake Castle?

Just showed my DD8 a picture of Cinderella's Castle from 1996 - when it was dressed as a birthday cake! Did anyone else find that thing ridiculously UGLY!? She wasn't born yet, but looking at pictures, she finds it to be outstanding!!!

My DD sent us a postcard with that humongous birthday cake castle on it. I showed it to her DD and she thought it was cool.

It was like that (pink) when we went on our honeymoon. I need to dig out the pictures now to check it out LOL! I thought it was kind of cool but yeah.. not very castle like.

That castle you call "Ugly" is one of my Fondest family memories!
My (now teen ) ds was very little and when he first saw that castle, he literally ran to get up close to it. He even tried to Lick that "luscious pink frosting!" It was so freaking cute and funny! I still recall it vividly! We took so many pictures and one is even framed, all these years later...........to kids..........it was apparently AWEsome ...I am one of "those people" that never thinks anything Disney is "Ugly"
