You may remember how we were having some simple, basic, easy siding, gutter and stonework done to our house.
Yeah right.
I don't even remember when I posted about it first, but they still aren't done!
First, we were delayed because our stone was backordered. They couldn't do the trim until the stonework was done, and they couldn't do the gutters until the trim was done.
FINALLY, they started working... BUT...
...When they were taking down the old gutters, they scuffed a pane on our front picture window. (They admitted the mistake, and offered to pay for a replacement pane. We had been planning on a BRAND new window next summer, so we just agreed to have them replace the whole WINDOW, not just the pane, and they subtracted the cost of one pane from the total price. It worked out great, because we got a $1200 window for $500 after a coupon they offered us on top of that.)
After that, while putting up the trim, inadvertently, they scuffed it in a few spots, which we found upon inspection. They promptly and without question fixed the problem.
The stonework was beautiful.
Last week, they came to put up the new window, and when they were finished and had wiped down the window, there was a long scratch across each of the three panes.

Now we are waiting while the three panes are being remade.
I think we started in August, and it is now October.
We owe them $4000, and they have yet to see a dime. So far, they are kissing our feet... I wonder why!
