Remember that 40% pin code?

When did it become available last year and what were the details? I seem to remember that not everyone got that code, but lots of people did. What do you think the chances are that they will offer that again?

This is sad, but I still have the post card. It doesn't have a post mark date on it, but it had to be booked by March 15th.

The first dates that is was good for said "From now until February 7, 2007".

Thanks for the info. Seeing those dates helped a lot. Of course, there are no guarantees that they'll offer it again or that the dates will be the same but it always helps to see what's been offered in the past.

I believe so, but it depended upon the time frame you chose and what resorts were available

We booked in Feb and just got back from 5 days at Grand Floridian--plus we were upgraded to Sugar Loaf--it was the best 40% code ever!

Wow!! How lucky for you!! I'm going to the GF in Nov. but only got a AAA discount. Not much, but better than nothing. I'd love to get the 40% code for 2008! Did you get an email offering you that or was it within the body of a Disney Destinations newsletter?

No, i did not. The code going around was leaked out and some CM's were adding the code to room-only reservations for people who did not receive the offer. Alot of people did this, and i mean ALOT, and they all had success using it. I got the code from a blog that someone posted about the code. The link to that blog was included in one of the big "40% off code" threads back in February/March.

We used it for 40% off value rooms for $49 nightly. We were able to book from December 18th - Dec 31st @ $49 !

After numerous callings to res to see if any pin codes were attached to my name (which there was not), my mom called and she had the 40% code attached to her name. We think it was because she hadn't been there for a couple of years. Hopefully, for next year?!

I can't remember all the specifics about the 40% off code in February 2007 but I did get Poly and WL CL for 3 nights each and the dining plan and a one day ticket at each resort for about $2200 for 1 person. I wasn't planning on staying CL but that was the room available with the 40% off code and I snapped it up.
