Horrible things as to both (why I'm sick, why there are wars, etc)

Meg, I really don't have the answer of why there are wars and people are starving when a God sits there and could well just snap his/her finger and make it all better. All I do know is that this world is made up of Trillions and Trillions of imperfect people that have differing opinions on well it seems just about everything. My God we are just a little tiny blip of a Teen Board on a Disney Related board and look at all the difference we have. This is why I think there are wars.

Unfortunately that is the truth, although the War in Iraq is suppose to help with terrorism, but the bottom line is those people in the Middle East are hating us because our beliefs are totally different then theres. It is also true for like Ireland where the Catholica and Protestants have been fighting for like ages. So wars are fought on the premise of religious differences, but that is not only the case as some wars are fought on prejudices like the American Civil War and some our fought on becoming free like the Revolutionary war(which did have a litle religious undertone to why the war was fought, but mostly it was because the U.S. wanted freedom from England.

I mean, God doesn't give you money for say, a new cell phone. You MAKE that money (earn it, really).

Well, I get what you're saying, I honestly do, but how did you get that money? You either got a good job, and there just happened to be an opening for you to get that job...or maybe you got it for your birthday, because someone blessed you with money to buy what you wanted. I'm not trying to be rude or anything please don't get me wrong, I'm just saying, things happen for reasons..

What I ment by "no one knows what it's like to be me", I ment, me personally, not bi or have FA.

They aren't in my mind, and they don't know how I percieve things, how I think, feel in situations, respond to attacks, etc.

And if there IS a "God", why do such horrible things happen? He has never helped me, ever.

I question the same thing every single day. But without suffering there would be no compassion.

Everything happens for a reason.

It all come's back to faith. Just because horrible things happen, doesn't mean there is no God. JMO, though.

People are dumb. But people do get dumb when they are angry and want to stand up for what they believe is right (such as religion). That is how a war is started from religion.
