Regular ticket Upgraded to Promo

I know there have been a lot of questions regarding how limited time tickets are treated when upgrading, so I thought I'd share my experience. I bought 2day 1park/day +maxpass tickets last year for $230. I was able to upgrade them at the ticket booths tonight to promo 3day 1park/day +maxpass for only $10 per ticket. No problems, and the CM at the booth didn't bat an eye when I asked for the upgrade. The only downside was the 45 minute wait at the booth at 8pm.
