Hey everyone.. I'm planning a WDW trip for MH's best friend and his bride to be for June. I'm trying to figure out if the DDP is worth it for them. I'm looking to put them at the Port Orleans Riverside or the Caribbean Beach for 8 days/Nights and they want to have park passes for only 3 of the days... to er... celebrate the other 5 *wink*

I know when I went last Aug with my Mom, SD, sister and MH, we did the dining plan and had more then enough food, but we went to the parks each day.

So I ask the DIS gods this:

Would the DDP be worth it if they are spending 5 days not in parks?

First, compare the price difference for the tickets. Once you get the first couple days, the rest is literally a couple dollars difference. Gives them additional options for dining too.

It is nice to have the option to head over to Epcot and have a drink or dinner at night and wander the countries. Having longer hoppers, and for $10 difference btw 3 and 7 day, is a nice option.

If they can afford it, I would recommend the DxDP. They could do a signature dinner nightly or a show. This would also allow them a TS or CS lunch or breakfast.

(I like POFQ better than POR, smaller and more intimate :) )

Good luck planning
