Regrigerator in Studio Rooms

Can someone tell me what they are like? Is the freezer compartment useful for storing any frozen food? I know on some small refrigerators the manufacturers do not recommend keeping frozen food in the frozen section for more than 24 hrs. How large is the freezer area?

We have only stayed in a studio once a few years ago, the refrigerator was one of the under the counter types with really only room for ice trays in the freezer section I don't think I would have tried to store anything in it.

Yeah, their fridge is a mini one. Not that great for freezer items.

I've stayed in lots of studios and the freezer is small, but I put at least 4 bottles of water in it to freeze. I've also kept frozen breakfast sandwiches in it too.

In studios the freezer is tiny, the big fridges you find in the 1bdrm and up.

When we stayed at AKL, there was no freezer, even a tiny one. I remember that because DH bought a pint of ice cream, thinking there was a tiny freezer. Then we got back to the room and realized there wasn't one so we ate it lol.

Was that in the DVC studio or a regular AKV room? We stayed in a studio one night at AKV, and there was room for ice cream in the freezer of the little fridge.

I'll bet that's the value studio I had also. I don't remember the number, but it's a pool view, and fortunately right near an ice machine. Maintenance tried to bring me a new refrigerator, but whoever had redone the room oopsied a little so the regular refrigerator/freezer was just a l-i-t-t-l-e too big. We are in an OKW studio right now. The refrigerator has a small freezer but we don't need it. Although the refrigerator is nearly at the lowest setting, everything in it is nearly frozen. Guess I don't need to worry about that hamburger going bad! All of our drinks have ice in them. I had to defrost my deli meat today to make a sandwich.

OKW studios we've had the freezers didn't freeze well, but the water bottles at the back of the fridge section did freeze
