regrets

I regret not saving things from my trips as a child. All I have is a Mickey license plate with my name on it for my bike circa 1984. I don't have my ears, or maps or other trinkets I would save my allowance money to buy. I went thru a phase in Junior High where I was decked out in cheap silver jewelry from Frontierland and my tie-dye Mickey head shirt and a white sailor cap with my name stiched on it. I remember feeling so cool that Spring Break....

I regret not buying a pin while I was there. I bought some on our last trip, and they are nice mementos. I put them on my backpacks. I would love to have a WALL E pin. I wish I would have looked for one since we were there last month, but we were only there for two days.

I also regret not riding the Finding Nemo submarines. Not so much for me, but for my DD14. The line was 80 minutes long. I regret not getting up earlier and just getting to this ride first thing in the morning so she could ride it.

Hmm...not many regrets. I do wish I would have splurged and bought the $40 version of Haunted Mansion Clue. It just seemed so big and heavy to lug around! I have never sat in front of the castle for fireworks, but I will next time. I want to have seats for Fantasmic, and watch the entire show. I will next time.

I also regret planning a 3 day trip. It is just not long enough. I am now committed to only 5-7 day trips even if it means grocery delivery and cheaper lodgings.

I regret not keeping all the picture souvenir books and maps I got as a kid. Those would be a lot of fun to look at today. That and the old view master slides I had.:goodvibes Showing my age now.
