Registered for DAS, but didn't get to pre-select attractions?

At exactly 7 AM today, I initiated the live chat to pre-register for DAS. Within a few minutes, I had the video call with the cast member. It was a very quick call - she confirmed my eligibility and abruptly ended the call after telling me she is transferring me back to the live chat.

I then confirmed with the live chat agent that DAS was added to my MDE account. But that cast member ended the chat, and I ended up not having a chance to select any attractions.

1. Is pre-selecting the attractions that big of a deal? Can't I just use the service when I get there, deciding which attraction I want to ride first?

2. I don't see DAS as an option on my MDE app. Is this because it doesn't actually appear until your arrival date (for me, next Saturday)?

1. Sure. But if you select two in advance, you’ll have three once you select your first one in the park. That may help with planning, but maybe not. I have weird times they gave me- 11 AM at Test Track and 3 PM at Soarin’ or something like that so it may not work that well with planning anyway.

2. Yes.

But now that you are registered for DAS, you can go to the chat for the rides directly. I did that. I got registered, but kept getting disconnected so got the chat for the rides on a different day. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/disability-access-service/

The DAS tile won’t show up in your MDE app until the person who is registered for DAS enters the park.
The first post on this thread has updated details about using DAS, including screenshots of using is on MDE app
 
Thank you all for the quick responses. I initiated the live chat again and was connected instantly. The cast member asked me which attractions I want on each day of my visit (3 selections per day - 2 attractions and 1 alternate).

They are now showing in MDE. 😀

are You doing a solo trip? My DAS advance only shows 1 person 2/6 of our days instead of 2. Am planning on chatting them back tomorrow!

Is the alternate in case they didn't have available your 2 selections? So after making the selections, you ended up with 2 for each day?

Correct. “Backup attraction” would be more appropriate terminology.
