I’m old too. I remember watching hIm on Joey Bishop too. I even remember watching him quit & walk off. He was a treasure trove of show biz memories. 2020 claims another great one.

He made me laugh. I only watched Regis & Kathie Lee and Regis & Kelly because of Regis! Once he left, the show lost the sparkle.
I was happy for him when he retired, but always loved when he would show up on TV.

RIP, you'll be missed.

Thuis memory has come back after decades of being forgotten, My Mom and I would watch Johnny Carson show all the time when I was a kid, but we first had to watch the beinning of the Jey Bishop show, cause she loved the way he said "hears Joey" , say Hi to him mom
