Representin' North Carolina, I got the "Good Old Grits Cookbook", with a package of grits, and some North Carolina BBQ sauce! I'm so excited about doing some Southern cookin'!

My dh's sucha dork! He spent 45 minutes in bed last night reading the cookbook! He loves to cook, and today he took the cookbook to the firehouse because he plans on making some of the recipes for the guys. Looked like some yummy stuff in there, but not for the diet conscious! (no worries here)

Unfortunately, Southern food in general isn't for the diet conscience! I'm really glad you like the cookbook, I was worried about it. It wasn't my first choice, I had problems getting the one I wanted.

I loved the cookbook exchange - I can't wait until we do it again!

Nice surprise at my front door when I got home today. It was a box from Jessica (jwsqrdplus2) . Inside were:
Best of the Best Form Arizona cookbook
Saguaro Cactus Honey and Prickly Pear Cactus Jelly
Cactus Cookie Mix with a little cactus cookie cutter
Mickey icon candle and soap
Roadrunner Eggs and Rattlesnake Eggs (Actually Bubble Gum )
Mardi Gras beads (from the former New Orleans DISer)

After I get off the computer I will check out some new recipes from Arizona.
