Thanks Kimber79 for pointing me in the right direction. I couldn't find this thread anywhere.

I sent my package. It's on it's way to it's new owner. It should arrive in a few days.

I got my package from powellrj a couple of days ago. She sent me Country Favorites (recipes for crowds, weddings and other gatherings). It's full of really cool recipes for when you need to feed a crowd. This'll be great for Scouts and other things my kids are involved in, as well as church. She also gave me Thyme and Thyme Again, a cookbook with all kinds of uses for thyme. It's got me wanting to plant some in my garden.

Thank you so much! I'm going to have a lot of fun reading these. I love a good cookbook! And thank you Meriweather for hosting the exchange. It was a great idea.

I'm only part way through the salads section (about 1/3 the way through the book), and I have found several recipes that I cannot wait to try. Don't worry about the seafood section (I am allergic); a cookbook that has more recipes that I can try than I cannot try is a win in my world. I also got some serving spoons and purple weave towels and dishclothes. They work great in my kitchen which had green marble counters with grape/vineyard accents! Of course spilled red wine is hidden better with purple than other colors!

Thanks Kim!! Awesome package! I'm sorry you had such a hard time finding it. It was worth the effort.

A big THANK YOU to Camlace. I received my apple pie cookbook in the mail today. This will give DS and I new ideas for the next time we bake our annual Thanksgiving apple pie.

Also in my package was apple pie spices and a mini apple "cookie" cutter--I think for the top of the pie. The most precious, though, is a recipe for Whoopie Pies that Camlace included from her grandmother's recipe file.

Can't wait to get baking. Thanks again.
