RefurbLand at DLR Fall 2011...Especially Sept 6-15

As I mentioned in another post we're going to stay with our Disney plans. We'll just catch POTC/BB at another visit. I do have a question though.

On the Disney site they are showing the Halloween Time as starting on the 16th with Space, Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror being themed yet there are no dates for a TOT downtime. Do they not shut it down for the overlay or can they just do that one over night?

Positive spin on things...

We'll catch POTC/BOB/CS next year after Cars Land Opens and everyone is over there. Should be walk on time at the rest of the park.:lmao:

While ToT would be a natural for a Halloween theme, in the past they have not done this. Where did you get the idea that they do?

From Disney...
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

Halloween Time is the most be-witching time of the year at Disneyland Resort. See favorite Disney Characters dressed in their spooky best with fun and surprises around every corner.

Step into Haunted Mansion Holiday brought to you by Jack Skellington.
Drop in for ghostly encounters on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Witness the terrifying transformation as Space Mountain becomes Ghost Galaxy.
Trick-or-treat at Mickey's Halloween Party on select nights. Separate admission required.

Maybe they're just going with it's scary anyway and just threw it in there.:confused3

I'm just stoked we'll catch it on our last day.:cool1:

Has Disney announced this yet?

I am in the middle of planning a surprise Labor Day weekend trip and I'm saddened to see HM closed.

All of it no, some appears to be wrong at this point. But HM will be down for the HMH overlay starting on August 29th this is regular and can be counted on.

I'm a bit sad that POTC will be down as it's usually our first and last ride we do when we visit! Luckily it seems everything else will be open again!
