Refund timeline and who to call?

Hello!

Our vacation to WDW ended last week, and we checked out of our hotel last Wednesday. We had a credit on our room (the result of a refunded room charge) that was supposed to be refunded to my credit card. This credit still has not shown up on my account. Do these things take a while? If I wanted to follow up on this do I call the hotel directly? Or the main reservation line?

Refunds go through cycles, and never show up on your card as quickly as charges will. You may have just missed the last cycle.

I would give it two weeks from check out. If it doesn't show up by then, I would call guest services.
 
A call to the credit card company will likely reveal that refunds can take 'up to' 30 days to appear on your account.

That said, I'd wait about 2 weeks and then call Disney to check on it.
 
I cancelled a bounce back rate when the AP rates came out and I think it was about 2 weeks before I saw my return.
 

The WDW Accounting Dept. handles this and can verify your credit. Unfortunately, I can't find their number anywhere, but you can call:

(407) W-Disney or (407) 827-7200 and they can either give you the accounting dept. number or they might be able to verify your credit is being processed. In my experience, WDW took about 3-5 days to issue my resort credit after I checked-out.
