Our DD will be baptized in a couple of weeks, and I am starting to think about what we should do for refreshments afterwards.
We know we WILL have cake and coffee/tea/soft drinks, but we are still up in the air as far as to whether or not to serve food, because the baptism is at 1:30pm, and we'd be back to our house by 2:15-2:30pm at the latest, from what was discussed in our baptism class.
Would you serve food (lunch food, or maybe some snacks or appetizer-type food?) before the cake, or just cake?
I'd assume that, by 1:30pm, most would have eaten lunch already, and by 2:30pm, wouldn't be quite ready for dinner?
What did you serve after your child's baptism? Any other thoughts? Thanks!
