Refillable Mugs

We are staying at Pop century 11 nights and then onto ASMO 10 nights I was wondering are the refillable mugs are different or can we buy just one mug for both resorts? also any recollection of how much per mug is?

They will be a different design. I think the rules are that you shouldn't use mugs from one resort in another, but I think they tend to turn a blind eye to this especially as you have moved resorts in the middle of your stay

Mugs are $11.99 plus tax, so you soon get your monies worth, even if you decide to get Pop and AS mugs

There are usually two styles of mugs - a fat type and a taller narrower version designed to fit in car cup holders

The mugs used to be different in each resort but last year they were just a generic 2007 one so maybe now they are all the same in each hotel?

as you have a continuous stay,folowing on from one resort to anouther,you are alowed to use the same mug.told this by cast members as we do a lot of differant resort stays
But as the mugs are now the same for each resort YOAMD type would be no problem anyway
then again the amount of times we have seen 7eleven big gulps 32 oz,being filled,and CM`s not batting an eyelid
I recall when we first stayed onsite.there were signs saying the mugs were lifetime
it was in the late 90`s that they changed to length of stay
Like park tickets origanaly they were allways non expirey,now you have to pay extra for that privalige
Was once told that Coke a Cola give the syrup free to disney as there a major sponcer and all the publicity with coke everywhere

Just to add that the mugs are well worth the money and we always go and send Lucy to buy them as soon as we get to the room. We don't buy one each just 2. Also if you are going to visit any water parks they have their own mugs available for sale there, can be used at BB and TL, and then you can just buy a scanned strip for the 2nd visit (hope that makes sense )

It's a shame that all resorts have the same design - it was nice collecting all the different designs

I can see it preventing a lot of confusion over where you can use your mugs though and the date prevents people taking mugs from years ago and re-using them

We always buy new mugs, its the first thing we do when we have checked in before we go to the room, go and get a nice cold drink

We always bring ours home to, when we went in September we got YOAMD mugs I think all resorts had the same mugs, the times previous when we were staying at all stars that was on the mug.
