Okay, here's my theory. We are staying at the WL. If I purchase refillable mugs for my adorable DDs and me, can I send them downstairs in the morning to the food court (with all 3 mugs) to get ME coffee and they can get their hot cocoas and return to the room and drink them?

How large are these refillable wonders? Will I be forced to send my elder child downstairs twice for refills on the same morning? Will additives be available near the coffee service? Is it powder cr*p only, or can i get real cream or milk for my coffee (aka - nectar of the gods)?

Any and all help (and most sarcasm) will be appreciated!

:smooth:

One person can fill as many cups as he/she can carry and return to the room.

There will be all the choices of coffee extras that you would expect.....sugar, sugar substitute, cream (in a sealed plastic cup, or the powdered type) and dairy substitute.

Yes you can and I believe they have small creamers right there
how old are your girls though?

The answer would depend on the age of your DD's. If they're 4 and 6 I don't think I'd send them. If they're 16 and 17 they'll either tell you no or they'll find some young men in the food court and won't come back.

You did ask for sarcasm, I think they're around 16-20 ounces and I don't remember what kind of cream is offered.

Your second scenario is more accurate, I am sorry to say. I don't really care WHO they find, as long as my coffee arrives dressed and warm (again with the sarcasm!)

Is the code DTW taken, or can I coin that acronym for my teenage wonders?

:rolleyes1

:drinking1 I hope the coffee is worth drinking when (If) your daughters come back. We stayed at Pop Century and the coffee was this horrible Nescafe stuff that wasn't worth drinking. Since you're in a Deluxe, perhaps it'll be better... :drinking1

My kids are old enough to know that if they do me these small favors in the morning, it returns to them tenfold later on. Truth is, they know I am FAR more likely to say yes to things once I've had my coffee!

By the way, they are 16 and 12, plenty old enough to be working in Kathy Lee Gifford's sweat shop... :smooth:

If you are a "sweet n low" person BRING YOUR OWN. They have only Equal and the yellow one, I think its called Splendor. We had lunch at Rainforest one day and they had Sweet n Low, I am embarrased to say that I took about 10 packets from them. But I did pay $13 for a burger and fries.

The coffee at POR was horrid, it was that Nescafe stuff, when we had dinner at 1900 w/ Cindy, they actually had fresh brewed drip coffee. I normally don't drink coffee after dinner (unless there is Sambuca in it:), but I could resist. It was spectacular!

Just a hint. You can ask for a coffee maker to be brought to you room and bring your own "good" stuff from home or they will leave a pack of their stuff each morning if you are not too picky. We also use the coffee maker to make hot chocolate. But then of course there would be no reason to get rid of your girls!!
