Refillable Mugs at the Boardwalk

I had read that there were no free refills for the Boardwalk mugs. We had bought used refillable mugs in Dixie Landings 2 years ago and we truly missed them.

This might be old news but since i have been off the DIS for a while, I will just post that now the refillable mugs are being offered. They cost $9.95 and you can refill them for free in the pool bar, the bakery, Spoodle's window or the "Boardwalk Joe's" stand in the Boardwalk. You can refill them with hot chocolate, coke, lemonade or coffee. As far as coffee goes, the best one is at "Boardwalk Joe's". ..strong enough to wake you up early to go to the parks. Since this stand only opens at night, we refilled our mugs at night and in the morning we would heat it in the microwave.

I think the mugs can be a good deal if you drink a lot of coffe/soda.

I didn't know they had refillable mugs at the BWV. We are going home in 6 weeks. Were did you buy the mugs at? What is the cost for the refill? Thanks!

The BWV Mug refills are at NO CHARGE. Free Refills. You can buy the mug at the bakery. They also will fill them up at the library when it is open.

Well..that is the news..that the refills are free....as many as you like. YOu can buy the mugs at Boardwalk Joe's, the Bakery or even Spoodles. I did not know about the library..thanks fo that info.

How long are the mugs good for? Are they dated? Do the designs on the mugs change? Can I buy one this week and use it for my next trip home?

That's a great question. We were there in November and they are definitely not dated but I never thought to ask if we could bring them back for our next trip.
