Refillable mug?

Can you use refillable mugs from previous trips? We were at the WL in 2001 and we are now going back to the WL in Sept. We still have our mugs. Do they change each year so that you have to purchase a new one?

Not sure about WL but at many of the resorts it states the mugs are good for length of stay when you purchased them. YMMV.

the official word from disney is only good for length of stay for that visit, but some people have reported getting away with using them again, or even have CM's encourage them to use old mugs, but you really aren't supposed to, so it is up to you.

I just got back from WDW. When we bought our mugs at WL about a year and a half agoo the sign said forever. I checked at WL during my stay and it now says for length of stay at that resort only. I was at ASMo and all the signs and thhe paper work in the rooms say for length of stay and at that resort.

I did not see a CM checking mugs during my stay. I saw folks using older mugs. Yes they did change the AS mugs. I saw folks using mugs from someplace else. The mugs at ASMo were $10.99. I bought one and used it there. I was solo and I got all I wanted from it.

I bought 3 of them in 2001. I purposely bought them because you could reuse them. I guess DH and I will share next time around because those things are expensive even though you can refill as much as you want.
