I couldn't find my answer in the stickey....although maybe I didn't interpret it right.

Anyway, doing a split stay over a period of Tuesday-Monday. If I purchase a mug at the first hotel will THAT mug carry me through till I depart from the second hotel 6 days later on Monday? Also, what is the current going rate of the Mug? Is it a one time only? I don't drink Soda so I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it.

Thank you!

Yes. They are good for 14 days from purchase.

From the sticky thread.

If you don’t have the dining plan, you’ll be charged $18.99 for each mug (price changed 1/18).

........

The mugs are sold as ‘length of stay’, but they seem to remain active for 14 days. The display screen on the soda machine will show you the expiration date for the mug when you fill it.

I don’t drink soda so I use mine for coffee. My coffee needs are generally two cups of caffeinated in the morning and one decaf in the evening. So that’s two purchased cups a day without the mug (I’m not going to game the system and use the same disposable cup all day, and definitely not for a whole trip), and the cost of coffee and soda is rapidly approaching $3, so it's a math problem as to whether it’s worth it.

I always buy a mug, I don’t drink soda either. But I like to drink the lemonade and mix with ice tea. Some resorts have the Pomegranate light lemonade, some just have the regular. There’s also a Gatorade type drink, and I’m beginning to see vitamin water in some resorts.
We take our mugs with us to the parks, I’m usually having my coffee at bus stop! Then attach mug (after a rinse) to my crossbody strap with carabiner. We often end up at a resort some time during the day for a CS lunch or just to check out shops and refill mugs there.
Other uses- at Epcot to put an adult bev in to keep cool :drinking1or if you want to leave the park before finishing said bev :tiptoe: they won’t stop you cause well, they don’t know what’s in there, lol.

Price for mug was $17.99 last fall - hopefully someone can verify if it went up in the new year. It is good for anything in the machines - in addition to soda there has been lemonade in the machines, and can also get iced tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Milk and juice are excluded, so it depends on what you like to drink.

* Just saw others posted while I was typing - price did go up(of course!) to $18.99.
