DS10 and I are doing a split stay between AKL and WL Villas. We are doing DxDDP for the AKL portion and QSDP for the WL portion. We will receive mugs for both, but do not need the extra two we will receive halfway through the trip.

I really like to 'pay it forward' so do you think it would be inappropriate to give the extra away to other guests staying at WL. They are paid for technically, but don't want to disrespect WDW policies.

I don't think it would be inappropriate; sounds like a nice gesture ~ I don't know Disney's policy either though.

That is a great idea. We are doing a 3 way split stay with the deluxe dining plan so that is 9 mugs by the end of the trip :scared1:

I think it is a wonderful way of spreading the magic. I would however leave the "tabs" on the handles so the people know they are not used when you give them to them.

How nice to find a couple or a parent and child to give them to. Don't think it would be against any policy, written or "moral".

I'm pretty sure that the tabs are cut off by the cashier. That's how they how you paid for the mug.

Correct the tabs are cut off. If this does not go against Disney policy then I would suggest getting them with the person you are giving them to. You both go thru the line and that way they can see you did not use them and that they are paid for.

I've done that before... While I have been in line, I'll notice if people in front/back of me have mugs. If not, I will ask. If they say NO- i'll explain- we are on dining plan, dont need and do they want... and give as soon as rang up... If we hadnt done this last summer, my boys and I would have ended up with 4 mugs each in a 7 day period..LOL
