Where do they sell the mugs?

And are they still selling the FW ones or have they moved to the YOMD mugs. I'd prefer a FW one, I don't really care for the new ones

Mugs are sold at Trail's End. Not sure if FW made the switch or not.

Year of a Million Dreams.

I've seen a picture and they're blue and white, but they look "wintery" to me. I don't think that's a word, but you know what I mean?

Yeah, I'm not too excited about the universal mug. I kind of liked the resort specific. I don't think all the resorts have made the switch, though. I'm hoping it is just something Disney is testing and will abandon.

Thanks. I hope FW keeps the resort specific ones. I like the "Rustic" Disney characters on it. I think resort specific ones are also great souveniers when you are done using them. My friend has the old Dixie Landings ones--before it became part of the "port Orleans" name. Resort specific ones have "character"--the YOMD don't sound like they do unless they are only doing them for this year and then going back to resort ones.

Here's a picture of the new mugs. They had them at POP when I was there two weeks ago.

To be perfectly frank, this mug sucks.:sad2:

Yup, and I really don't know what they're thinking. With a universal mug, the abuse of the "use on visit in which it was purchased" rule will be even more rampant.

My mother did purchase one of these mugs at POP and the cashier told her that theft of these mugs has been high, especially in the parks where people sometimes leave them in their strollers.

makes it easier to go from resort to resort and get a drink.

I know that it cuts down on their production costs, but is it really necessary? I noticed when we were there in April that the receipts even say Disney Parks and not Disney World. Everything does not have to be generic!
