reentry to disnet parks

we only intend to spend 3 days at the parks this year so we will be buying the tickets when we arrive in orlando, we do not intend to park hop, but if we arrive early and want to come out of the park for a few hours in the afternoon, can we re enter later on in the day, do disney stamp your hand for re entry on the same day or something similar

using the same ticket in the magic box at the gate will allow reentry. They have not done the hand stamp for a while.

Sure, you can leave and re-enter the same park as many times as you like on the same day.

They don't use a hand stamp any more; they now use a biometric finger scanner to make sure that the person coming in on this ticket THIS time is the same person who came in on this ticket LAST time.

thanks for your prompt replys, also as we only want 3 days worth of tickets this year am i right in thinking we will save nothing if we buy our tickets from either the uk disney site or the usa disney site before we leave the uk, we might as well buy the three day ticket at the gate , is this what is easiest

probably the UK site... but best deal on a short ticket might involve getting out the calculator.

I think you are right. It doesn't seem to me to be any cheaper to buy your park tickets in advance. They seem to be the same price at the gate. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The price of the tickets will be the same but what you would be saving if you buy them ahead of time is time. The ticket lines in the morning can get fairly long. Mostly because people have no idea what they want to buy until they get up to the window.
