Reduce your Dish Network Bill

I just wanted to share a tip if you have Dish Network. AAA offers a $10/month discount with Direct TV for 24 months. If you call Dish Network and tell them you are thinking about switching over to Direct TV to get this discount, they might match it. I am sure it depends on if you are in a contract or not, and on the person you are talking to, but my MIL was able to do this the other day. If it doesn't work the first time, call back and talk to someone else. Usually if you say you are going to cancel and switch to Direct TV, they will give you a discount. This should not bind you into a new contract either, so don't let them tell you that is part of the agreement!
