Day 5
Decide to sleep in do some laundry and swim. We all head down to the laundry area, while my wife does that, the kids and I enjoy a swim. We took it easy in the morning because we were doing an e-night this day. In the afternoon we go to MGM to do Mermaid, Animation, WWTBM (I was in the top 10 woohoo), Backlot Tour (which the tram portion wasnt going so whats the point?), muppets and lunch at Backlot Express. Then caught a bus to the the MK around 5:00 got our bracelets did the rides that werent operating during e-night, then during e-night did Buzz 3 times, Space Mountain, Pooh, Mickeys Phil. 3 times, Haunt.Man, Peter Pan etc . I failed to mention earlier that one of my highlights on this trip was COP being open I now have the kids singing the song and the old song from when I was a kid. Back to the room at 1:30 a.m.
Day 6
Have Boma breakfast scheduled for 9:30 call bell service at 9:10 to come get luggage to transfer to CR they are there in 5 minutes and we have a great breakfast. My son has nut and soy allergies and everything on this trip worked out great for him the chef at Boma was great. The wife wanted to check into the CR right away so caught the first bus which was Blizzard Beach and transferred to a CR bus. Upon check in at the CR I had a standard wing reservation and weve been upgraded before without asking, I asked if we could be upgraded and what the cost was I would have paid it, but they had some water problems in the tower earlier that week and they were having problems filling their tower reservations so I was out of luck. However, our room was ready and it was a nice location in the north wing (7375) with a view of the MK. We checked it out and headed to DTD for some shopping kids ordered personalized sweatshirts and we grabbed a few other items then headed back to the CR to get our luggage. That evening we went to Epcot and started out with Spaceship Earth then Mexico and Norway. Left before Illuminations figuring we would get back also tomorrow was a visit from Charley.
Day 7
Slept a little later and then headed over to the MK. Not crowded at due to resort guest only and open until 1:00. Rode a few rides and grabbed lunch at Cosmic Rays. Headed back to the CR to hit the gift shop I told the kids we would play poker that night ( as well as blackjack, old maid, go fish, etc ) so I picked up a six pack of lite, some M&M to use as chips, Mickey pretzels, and the wife wanted candles just in case. We all napped and then started playing cards the CR offered a free buffet in the ballroom (hot and cold foods) so we went down to get some fruit the line was long and people were acting like they werent going to eat for 3 months. The revolving doors were boarded up, sandbags in place, ropes up and anything that could fly away was removed. Cruella Deville and a few other characters were in the lobby but we headed back to our room. Around 8:00 it started raining hard and the wind picked up we couldnt really see much from the room except that and it died down around midnight. All in all just a quiet night in the room that the kids really enjoyed.
