I just wanted to post my experience here for others.
After reading about others having trouble getting tickets, Dh and I discussed and weighed the pros and cons. We ultimately decided to use red tag to get our tickets. We are only going for a one day- park to park ticket....so total of both tickets was just under 5000 AM. It's few miles but not the total we have accumulated.
I did it late at night 10:00 pm AB time. I received a couple emails within minutes. The regular ones stating you have used Am blah blah blah. Another from red tag saying they would be sending the vouchers shortly.
I received my vouchers by 8:30 am. I opened it on my phone...and my phone couldn't open the vouchers....and the panic set in.
I went into my account on my work computer, and was able to open them...with the attached codes!
THEN...I panicked again....because the last time I went to Universal I had a bar code on our paper ticket...and not the fancy shmancy qr code thingy. I then dm
@damo for her help and asked her if this was indeed the actual ticket...or did I need to start chasing down my tickets. She answered that I actually did luck out and get tickets my first try
I am glad it worked for me. If it wouldn't have, we would have dipped into our travel fund to buy tickets, then I would have spent the time needed to get our tickets that we would no longer need - but could use for a future trip with our boys that I can see us taking once dh experiences Universal

. We had earmarked out AM specifically for this upcoming trip and that's why I took the chance, and it worked in my favor.
