I can't find any threads about the red sox, so I thought I would start a thread for us red sox fans....


Do you really think we can pull it out, and make this our year?? I still don't think we'll win the World Series, but maybe I'm just not building up my hopes for them to get smashed.

Our pitching has been superior this year, wonder if it'll hold up?? I'm really liking our aquiring Curt Shilling, I think he was a great guy to get, but, how many years does his contract last? Just wondering


and oh yeah, you yankee fans, go worship them somewhere else, and don't bash us, okay?

I think the Red Sox are going to very well this year (I'm not a curse person) They have an excellent pitching staff and we have a bullpen this year, the great thing about the start they have is that they are doing it with out 2 of our best hitters, the wins have come on the strength of the pitching something that the Sox usually dont have, they usually go with a strong hitting team.

Anything can happen, but I think this going to be a fun season.

As the Yankee loving wife to a Red Sox Maineiac I can only hope this is "The year to be here"...Maybe then I can stop feeling so bad for my husband! Just Kidding, Best of Luck!

Anything is possible!! My hopes are always up...then the big let down....BUT...this year could be it!! Let's hope anyway.

My biggest concern would be all those who might expire if they would take the World Series...I'm one of those who has made the statement I would like to see them win JUST once before I leave this earth! Just kidding, but it is all part of the lore of the Sox, gotta love em!

Waiting not so patiently for Nomar and Trot to return to the line up, but the others have certainly pulled their share and props to them for keeping the dream going at least through April....LOL
