Reconsidering BCV August stay

I own at both BCV and BWV. I spent a week at the BCV in January, no major problems. My only "real" complaint was that there was no balcony off the master BR, and a small standing type balcony (there was room for one chair) off the living room. As it was FREEZING, it didn't matter much, but it would have mattered in the summer when I enjoy using the balcony. I'll be there for a week in August, and am looking forward to it.

We just had a wonderful stay at BCV! We had one minor problem so we called the front desk and someone from mousekeeping was at our door in minutes. We loved SAB, the kids had a blast. The brownie a la mode was unbelievable!

As for ducklite's problem - there are rooms that have a large balcony with access from both the living room and the master bedroom. That'd be something to ask for if it's important to you, and if available at the time.

Ursula, so you remember the # of that "perfect" studio? I'm in the process of trying to compile a list of all the studios at BCV and comments. Thanks! Anyone else, too, please comment.

Thanks - I've been trying to get everyone to report on the room report log and have only seen 3 additions in 2 weeks. Maybe compiling a list is better and we can make it a thread or even possibly get a mod to put it at the top of the page so we could all have this great reference.

I would be willing to compile for BWV if anyone wants to e-mail or PM me there room info. I think we had said - room size, handicapped or not, view, distance from elev., floor, any patio issues (none, double, etc.) additional comments.

We have been lucky enough to stay at BCV, our home resort, 3 times and are heading back in November. Each of our visits were great!!!

In fact housekeeping was just wonderful. I don't know why, but I love when they make the bed with a sheet, blanket, and sheet. The blanket is between 2 sheets. Our mousekeeper did that at the BCV. And our rooms were always clean. No complaints.

The only thing I ever had go wrong was NO hot water one morning. Then again, nobody had any because the main line was busted. Oh well, these things happen. No big deal, it was back on soon enough.

We stayed at BCV in a dedicated 2 BR on april 6 for 5 days. It was our first time there and we loved it. We've stayed at all the resorts and it would probably be a tie between BCV and BW for me. Room was clean, in good repair; no complaints at all. Loved t
the short walk to Epcot.
