Recommendations on the Best Time to Go to WDW

I will going April 26-May 4 2025. Hoping it isn’t too hot, or at least not too humid. The kids will enjoy the pools for sure though!!! We went Christmas one year and it was hot (set record highs like every day) and went January 2023 which was perfect!! Just have to figure out how to ditch the hoodies mid morning!!!!

We did Dec 6 - Dec 15th in 2021 and the weather was fantastic. The crowds were not bad at all as we hit right between the 2 holidays.

Update...We decided to go the first week in May for a few reasons. We will be celebrating the end of tax season. I think it should be a relatively slow time to visit. Other family members who like to invite themselves on our vacations will still be in school (I know, but I want it to just be my kids and I).

When you say brutally hot, is it worse than mid-July? That was the last time I was there. I survived, but barely!!!

No, not worse than mid-July, but I was there this September and it was actually hotter in May this year. If that's any help!

If you want to attempt to avoid heat, December and January are probably your best bets. Just don't go during a major holiday or during the WDW marathon, or you'll run into big crowds.

There really is no actual low-crowd time at WDW anymore, I'm sorry to report. Those days are over . . . unless they miraculously return. Hey, we can hope!
