During our trip hubby and I are going to take a night to go out for dinner just the two of us.

Last trip we went to Fulton Crab House (mmmm) and then went downstairs to the bar that was down there for a drink.

We are trying to decide where to go this trip. We are staying at BLT so I'd like something sorta easy to get to from there also somewhere that either has a bar or is close to a bar as we'll likely go for a couple drinks after dinner.

Ambiance is cool... doesn't have to be anything super romantic. We are too loud and laugh too much for quiet romantic places lol

I was thinking Cat Cora's restaurant since we are fans of hers and love Iron Chef so that would be kinda cool. Any reviews of that restaurant? any suggestions for other restaurants or bars?

Kouzzina is a great place. If you have not been to her restaurants this is an oppertunity. Upscale Mediterranian, more Greek, more North African, than Italian. After dinner drinks at BellVue Lounge are perfect. But distrans from BLT to BW is lacking, just takes forever. Take taxi, only about $20. We stay BW all the time, take taxi to WL for dinner at AP. That would be another spot for you. Just short boat ride away. Lounge there is great also.

There's also Raglan Road - the food is good and entertainment fabulous! Right in Dowtown disney.

My fiance and I loved the House of Blues when we went in January. Nice atmosphere, private, but not a place where you feel you have to be quiet. Food is great and you can get a great coupon at restaurant.com.

Depending on budget you are looking at... California Grill is right inside the Contemporary but is pricey. Anything on the Boardwalk is good, we like Big River Grille. Jellyrolls is also right there as a place to get some drinks and enjoy some live music. Have fun!

You might consider The Wave in the Contemporary. We had a very good meal there in September, and the bar is very cool. You could also go upstairs to the bar at the Calif Grill for a drink.

thanks for all the suggestions. this has not made my decision any easier :p LOL these all look great

I really like the look of Raglan road

I didn't even think to check what restaurants other than chef mickeys were in the contemporary. I'm gonna go check out both of thsoe restaurants online right now. they should have a menu I can read online right?

I've heard a lot about jelly roll too and that sounds like it would be really fun for a drink after

I looked at the California Grill. it looks nice and I would love the views but I don't know if Im keen on the menu. Everything seems to have a sweet aspect to it and I'm just not big on sweet in my dinner dishes. but the view would be aweeeeesome

I think raglan road might be a front runner. I like the menu and I love the irish pub atmosphere.

so many choices lol
