Well, I guess the title says it all. Which restaurant do you suggest for Thanksgiving dinner?

If you want something on property my first choice would be Artist point.

For a wonderful Thanksgiving meal...off property..head to the Peabody reasort on International Drive and have the buffet at Cappriccios, they have all the food you could could possibly want almost as good as my home made, lol, and then every thing else. It is wonderful, we have done it many times.
Make a reservation. If you go for the first seating, arrive about thirty minutes early and see the march of the ducks.

For last Thanksgiving, we had a dinner ADR at Chef Mickey's for my family of 6.

Well, DD ended up in the hospital & we couldn't make the trip, so we gave our ADR to some friends (and fellow DISboard member "edk35"). They had a good time!

If we're ever able to try Thanksgiving again, I'm sure DS will want to eat there.

We did Whispering Canyon in 2007 and plan to go again this next Thanksgiving. Very traditional and very good!

We do Chef Mickey's when we go (every other Thanksgiving). It never disapoints. If ever we couldn't go there we would probably go to WCC, another one of our favorites.

We had Thanksgiving dinner last year at the Captain's Grille at the YC. It's a buffet with traditional Thanksgiving food, and some other things thrown in. At first we were disappointed to find out it was going to be a buffet because we normally don't care for buffets other than for breakfast. We decided to stick with it. We LOVED it. The food was great and our server was just wonderful.

When I checked in, they couldn't find our ADR. Turns out we were booked for DECEMBER instead of November. They were great about it and checked us in as if we had an ADR so we didn't have to wait long at all. I would definitely go back. We really enjoyed it. By the time we were done with dinner, our Fast Passes that we picked up way earlier in the day for TT were ready!

We did cirque du soleil and dinner at Fulton's crab house one year on
Thanksgiving day. They served a traditional turkey with all sides, but we also enjoyed lobster that evening.
The following year we traveled with three families from our neighborhood. We were a group of about 19. We had our dinner that Thanksgiving at Prime Time Cafe in DHS. Where better to eat then in Mom's kitchen?? Again, they had the traditional turkey, mashed potatoes etc. as one of the choices.

We are planning to go to Cape May at the BCR. Never been here for a holiday, but it's my mom's favorite restaurant in WDW.

We were also thinking about going to Boma, which is my favorite restaurant in WDW!;)

We went to Cape May this past Thanksgiving. We set our bar low, and we were blown away! We do like Cape May, but they outdid themselves. The turkey was wonderful and the stuffing was great. And I'm a stuffing snob! They also had the seafood that I enjoy. Desserts were wonderful. They had some Thanksgiving type and also Oreo Bon-Bons. Our friends ended up doing a walkup on Thanksgiving night and they loved it as well. I would HIGHLY suggest this restaurant. Hope you enjoy!
