Recommendations for teen first-timers

My school's Senior Trip to WDW is coming up in a few weeks. I'm a teacher with a freshman homeroom. Two Seniors come in on a regular basis and act as mentors to the frosh.

I'm putting together a packet for them before they go. Neither has ever been to WDW before.

What are your best tips?

hmmm..... my some good tips would be take advantage of the FastPass system, drink LOTS of water, and depending on time, have your priorities in mind. think about what rides you REALLY want to do and get them done. and if there's time, enjoy the other stuff

Also make sure they don't try to rush and do everything, it's better if they take their time and enjoy the details that the park has to offer.

I know what I've suggested in terms of where to head first when they enter the parks, and how to juggle fastpasses... do you guys have any suggestions?

When you get there at rope drop, what do YOU do first?

My family always heads to Dumbo first, but that's just a tradition we have

I would head to Tomorrowland first since they have the most teen-friendly attractions (Space Mountain, Buzz, Speedway, Laugh Floor, Stitch's Great Escape, etc.) and then make my way over to Fantasyland, riding any rides that may catch my attention. Then stroll over to Haunted Mansion and Frontierland.

hit the basics, meet mickey, ride the mountains, see a parade, see the fireworks, ride test track, get a burger at Ray's (GET A DOLE WHIP IN ADVENTURE LAND!!!!!)... maybe show them a park map or direct them to Allears.net and see what looks interested to them.

I would recommend that they download one of the WDW line apps

If they're into thrill rides, have them head to the fastpasses at the bigger rides first thing when they get to the parks.
