Recommendations for breakfast

Anyone have suggestions or preferences for restaurants for breakfast? I'm making ADR for December. I'd appreciate anyone's input.

My family likes Crystal Palace, Akershus and Whispering Canyon Cafe for breakfast.

Boma is our favorite, we ate there 3 times in our last 2 trips. Second place is Kona and third is Cape May....they are all awesome places.

If you want Chef Mickey's start calling now! It books up really quickly. If you want something in the parks, I suggest the Crystal Palace in MK and Tusker House at AK. These are all character buffets and with or without kids are lots of fun. Good luck!

Our favorite is Kona Cafe at the Poly. That is always on our list of must dos. We either go there on our departure day, or a day that we are going to the MK. Our favorites are the Tonga Toast or the Pineapple Macadamia Nut pancakes. Enjoy!

Kona Cafe or Chef Mickey's are popular with us, in that order, for breakfast (didn't like CM's at dinner).

We really enjoyed Kona on our last trip. We were there for a 7:30 am ADR and were at the MK by 8:30.

What was nice is, we had a rental car and drove there from OKW, left the car and hopped on the monorail.

I've booked Kona, Boma and Whispering Canyon (times I needed were available) so far from all of your suggestions. I've never done the ADR before and I didn't realize that the restaurants are booked up so far in advance.

Chef Mickey's for a buffet or Kona Cafe for a sit down breakfast. Both are great!

We love Crystal Palace. Especially the atmosphere! But if you're looking for something quieter, Fresh at the Dolphin has a very good buffet with no characters.

My favorite is Kona Cafe, followed closely by Boatrights. The next two that I love are Crystal Palace at MK and the RFC at AK park.

We don't do a lot of breakfasts because we (I) like to be there at park opening.

However, this year I am excited about doing Crystal Palace (8:05am) and CRT (8:10am) at the MK before MK opens, to experience an empty mainstreet and get a good pic of the castle.

We are also trying Tuskerhouse at 8:05, before park opening at 9:00.

I am excited about being in the park even for a walk to the restaurant, without many others being around. I think it will be a neat experience.

Kona sounds sooo good.

Crystal Palace before the park opens is definitley the way to go! DH & I tried it for the first time last summer- it was so amazing to walk down a deserted main st- almost like the park was open just for us!

CP also has AMAZING puffy french toast- something that I haven't seen at the other character breakfasts I've been to.
