Recommendations for a small, lightweight, foldable scooter

I saw someone take a small travel Scooter out of their car, quickly unfold it, add the seat and drive it into the Boardwalk on our last trip. I was amazed. It was so small but stable, large enough to hold a full adult and nice to look at.
So I did some investigation after I got home and recently got a hands-on look at the Golden Carryon Scooter that I had seen and did a test ride. I own a Pride Go-Go Sport but it’s getting harder for my husband to pick up each 35lb piece and place it in the trunk or back of SUV repeatedly and then haul each piece back out to put it back together. Anyway, I thought I would give you my feedback.
I’m used to a 3-wheel but to use a small foldable, I am willing to give up the great turning radius one gets from a 3-wheel. For some applications, it will take an extra step to get around a corner (I’m thinking of you FOP queue!)
The amazing simplicity of taking the lightweight (12lb) seat off and folding the rest down was a breeze. Once folded I could easily pick up one end and lean it onto the back of the car, then lift the other end and slide it into the car. It is about 47 lbs without the seat, but I’m only lifting about 25-30 lbs at a time by lifting one end and then the other. I am not strong….can’t even lift the battery off my Go-Go because of the Velcro attachment, but I could lift the end of this scooter without issue.
The tiller angles to whatever you like. I am tall and have long legs but there was space to set my feet above the front wheels so my toes had extra room.
The controls can be used by one hand like the Go-Go Sport which is important for me.
When you have the unit folded down, there’s a place for the seat to click into it on folded tiller so you can take the lifting handle on the front and roll the unit like luggage if needed.
All in all I thought the scooter was really good. Of course I haven’t road tested it by sitting in it all day at WDW but I thought the seat was acceptable. For the convenience and easy portability, I would give up the more padded seat and extra legroom of the Go-Go.
I asked the owner of the dealership about using the Carryon scooter in rain conditions in Orlando which he was familiar with. He said it was key to cover the upper portion of the tiller in the rain but the rest is well sealed and there shouldn’t be an issue with showers which can’t be said about a lot of lithium powered scooters coming on the market.
If anyone else has used a Golden Carryon scooter, I would love to hear about your experience.

Pretty sure this is the same scooter mentioned earlier in this thread

Is much more durable then folding scooters.

Do you have a trailer hitch on your SVU?
Available at Harbor Freight
Some looking for folding travel ECVs may not drive to WDW and want the ease of putting them in rental cars, Lyft, taxis, etc., not to mention a lighter version to gate check with airlines.

Understood.

We have the iGo scooter. It's folds and can optionally split.

The .scooter was damaged by airlines twice, maybe 3 times. The airlines and Global (the company handling ECV claims for many airlines said they get a lot of claims with foldable scooters.

The technician in our area only repairs foldable scooters if it's an airline claim. The scooters always take 2 trips, needed parts aren't stocked. They take longer to repair. He thinks people who really need an ECV, and want a foldable scooter should have a backup scooter.

The iGo, and similar scooters, have advantages. Easier to put in the trunk. I've folded it and rolled it up the ramp on a.Disney bus, behind 2 scooters using the tie down locations. When folded they take less space in a room.

My suggestion, only get a foldable scooter if scooters like the GoGo are not a viable option.
