Recommendation for Downtown Disney

I just spoke to a friend who lives down in Orlando area. She and her family are meeting us in downtown Disney for dinner. We are 4 kids ages 5, 6, 9 and 12 with 4 adults. I am staying at POR so the boat ride should be fun for my kids. Looking forward to some yummy ideas. Thanks
