Recommend a comedy TV show

The only comedy I watch now is 30 Rock (and I mainly just watch the DVDs). Anything else recent worth watching?

I love Raising Hope. It's on Fox on Tuesday nights after Glee. It's about a 20-year old man raising his baby daughter with his parents. The baby's mother (a one-night stand) turned out to the a serial killer and was executed in the first episode. It sounds sick, but it's actually very funny. Cloris Leachman plays the crazy grandma perfectly.

I also like Modern Family and The Middle on Wednesdays. Both are very well written and I love the casts.

Big Bang Theory! Best comedy on right now. Psych although not a straight out comedy is great.

Have to watch Big Bang Theory everyone in our house is a fan and My DH is extremely picky and rarely watches series and even he loves it.

Big Bang! and Psych is funny as well and for the life of me I cant remember the name of it but its on Mondays at 8:30 after How I met your mother...its really funny!

Only show I watch on TV. Big Bang Theory. I even bought the DVD's--and I never do that.

Mike & Molly is a new one and I really like it. I record it every week and once I'm done with it, I delete it....well, my DH got all huffy with me because he wasn't able to watch it one week (I did NOT know that he watched it, he's really not into comedies that much) He just watched in last night on the DVR and was in tears from laughing. I'm thinking it's his new fave!!!

I agree with the recommendations for Raising Hope. The show won't be back on until February but all 11 episodes are up on Fox.com right now.

I think you're talking about Rules of Engagement. I just started watching this one on dvd, and LOVE it!

(and if you're not talking about Rules of Engagement, I still love it anyway)

I also just got into Two and a Half Men, which I find very funny. Hot in Cleveland comes back next month on TVLAND, and Retired at 35 looks good too

Another vote for Big Bang, huge fan of The Middle, just discovered The New Adventures of Old Christine. Oh, and Arrested Development is worth buying on DVD or you can watch it on Netflix. I missed it when it was on tv, but it became my favorite show this year. Smartest show on tv (well, when it was on tv). Now 30 Rock holds that spot.
