Recommend a cab company?

Hi Everyone! I've noticed people mention taking cabs after late ressies, etc. I had never thought of this. Does anyone have a cab company that they recommend? Thanks so much!

Mears is the cab company, but you won't have to call in advance for a basic cab. There are cabs outside all the parks (TTC for MK) and usually a few in front of all the resorts where you might be dining. If you don't see one, just ask the bell services / valet person to call you a cab.

Just make sure you get a Mears cab if you're choosing from numerous ones anywhere - there are some other independent cab drivers / companies that may not be as reputable.

We've taken cabs several times. No problems. You just go to the conceirge and tell them you need a cab. They have the company that they call. It's quicker that way and they are safe and honest. If they had complaints then they would lose their contract with Disney. Not good in this economy.

We have taken cabs several times. Sometimes we have been dressed up, and not wanting to use the bus system. They have dropped us off, and picked us up when ready to go back to our resort. Never ever have had a problem.

We always just ask bell services outside in front of the hotel and there is almost always a cab waiting that we just hop into. The only place we've ever had to wait for a cab has been at the Boardwalk. There was a line there and we waited maybe 10 minutes.

Not restaurant, but at Typhoon Lagoon Guest Services all of our phones have a hot button for taxicabs. If there are none at the stand, we will take name, number of people and destination and call it in; a cab will usually be there within five minutes reserved for the caller.
